School starts at 9AM. The first bell rings at 8:55, which is the signal for your children to enter the buidling. We ask that your child not be dropped off any earlier than 8:45, because there is no supervision on the playground at this time. Your child should go to the playground after exiting the bus, or after being dropped off at car pick-up. 1st graders must enter near the DCS door NOT by the kindergarten door.
If your child arrives after 9AM, they should go directly to the office to check in, before heading to class.
Going Home:
School ends at 3:30pm.
If your child will be riding the bus home with another student, or needs to get off at a different stop, please send a written note with your child so a bus pass can be written.
Also, if transportation home will not be the usual, always send a note to us. This helps avoid confusion for your child at the end of the day.
